Job Context: working as Financial Accountantyou will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting financial strategy. This role requires strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Key AccountabilitiesThe position involves:
- Preparing accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ensuring adherence to accounting standards and company policies.
- Supporting the development and analysis of annual budgets and forecasts.
- Managing general ledger activities including journal entries and reconciliations.
- Facilitating efficient month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Preparing tax returns and assisting with tax compliance, audits, and inquiries.
- Supporting both internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation.
- Implementing and maintaining internal controls to safeguard financial integrity.
- Monitoring and refining financial processes for better efficiency.
- Managing cash flows and assisting with liquidity planning.
- Maintaining relationships with banks and financial institutions.
- Staying updated with financial regulations and ensuring compliance.
- Conducting financial analysis to inform and support business decisions.
Knowledge, Skills, and ExperienceWe are Looking for:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred; Diploma holders are also encouraged to apply.
- At least 1 to 2 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
