About the job Finance Manager

General Description of Role and Responsibilities:


  • The Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing all financial activities, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and risk management. They provide strategic financial guidance to senior management, ensuring compliance with regulations and contributing to the organization's overall financial success.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Financial Planning and Analysis:
    • Develop and manage budgets and financial forecasts.
    • Analyze financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
    • Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
  • Financial Reporting:
    • Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
    • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
    • Manage financial audits.
  • Budget Management:
    • Oversee the development and monitoring of departmental budgets.
    • Analyze budget variances and implement corrective actions.
    • Control expenses and optimize resource allocation.
  • Cash Flow Management:
    • Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure adequate liquidity.
    • Optimize working capital management.
    • Manage relationships with banks and other financial institutions.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Supervise and mentor finance staff.
    • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
    • Delegate tasks and provide performance feedback.
  • Compliance:
    • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal financial regulations.
    • Stay updated on changes in financial regulations and accounting standards.

Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:


  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience in financial management or accounting.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations in KSA.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Professional certifications such as CPA or CFA  is preferred.
  • Min 15 years of experience in the field.
  • Experience on the international scene.
  • Excellent written and spoken English skills. Having excellent written and spoken Arabic skills is preferred.
  • Ideally will have worked on project-based assignments.
