Job Description
The Finance Director is responsible for overseeing the financial strategy, planning,
and operations of Real Estate Company. This role requires expertise in fund
management, financing strategies, and optional experience in Initial Public Offerings
(IPO). The Finance Director will play a critical role in ensuring the company financial health, optimizing profitability, and supporting strategic growth initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, an analytical mindset, and extensive experience in real estate finance.

Key Responsibilities
Financial Strategy and Planning
- Develop and execute the company’s financial strategy to achieve short-term and long-term goals.
- Prepare and manage financial forecasts, budgets, and performance analysis.
- Provide strategic financial guidance to the executive team to support business growth and expansion.
Fund Management
- Oversee the management of investment funds, ensuring optimal allocation and performance.
- Develop strategies to attract and manage investor relationships, including capital raising initiatives.
- Monitor fund performance, risk exposure, and compliance with investment policies.
Financing and Capital Structure
- Lead efforts to secure financing for real estate projects through loans, bonds, or other funding mechanisms.
- Negotiate terms with banks, financial institutions, and investors to secure favourable funding arrangements.
- Evaluate and recommend optimal capital structures to maximize returns and minimize risks.
IPO Preparation (Optional)
- Collaborate with external advisors to evaluate the feasibility and timing of an IPO.
- Oversee financial due diligence and compliance to meet regulatory requirements.
- Prepare financial statements, disclosures, and investor presentations for IPO readiness.
Financial Operations and Reporting
- Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial reports, including P&L, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Maintain compliance with Saudi regulations and international accounting standards.
- Develop and enforce internal controls to safeguard assets and prevent fraud.
Leadership and Team Management
- Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of high performance and accountability.
- Ensure continuous professional development of the finance team to meet evolving business needs.
Risk Management and Compliance
- Identify financial risks and implement strategies to mitigate them effectively.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, and corporate governance standards.
Stakeholder Communication
- Present financial insights and recommendations to the executive team and board of directors.
- Serve as a key point of contact for auditors, investors, and regulatory bodies.
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (Master’s degree or MBA preferred).
- Professional certifications such as CFA, CPA, or ACCA are highly desirable.
Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in finance, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Proven expertise in fund management and financing strategies, preferably within the real estate sector.
- Optional: Experience in leading or supporting IPO initiatives.
Skills:
- Advanced knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, and investment strategies.
- Strong understanding of Saudi financial regulations and international accounting standards (e.g., IFRS).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in financial software and tools.
- Fluency in Arabic and English is required.
