Job Description

Job Title: Finance Country Controllership SpecialistWork Location: Riyadh, Saudi ArabiaJob Summery Finance Controllership Specialist is responsible for the accounting operations of Accenture across ME countries driven by one common objective—to deliver the very best results through the aggregation of best thinking and seamless collaboration between specialized and centralized workforces while adopting leading digital solutions. Key responsibilities
  • Co-ordination with different onshore and offshore team to ensure proper month-end closing activities, pre-close review of the accruals, prepayments, provisions and recurring entries to ensure appropriately recorded.
  • Point of contact in controllership for payroll team, bank guarantee for KSA and treasury related activities.
  • Ensuring U.S GAAP and local GAAP Compliance
  • Maintain and monitor adherence to financial related policy and procedure.
  • Maintain, review and monitor accounting work practices in line with company’s policies, procedures and internal auditor recommendations. Ensure continuous improvements.
  • Provide advice to financial and non-financial stakeholders on finance related matters.
  • Identify internal control risks and implement controls as required.
  • Liaise with Global Treasury on banking requirements including local bank credit facilities
  • Liaise with external tax advisors, auditors, and legal advisors as required.
  • Prepares the Ad-hoc reports or analysis as and when required by management.
  • Ensure to the compliance of internal controls system and policies and support the finance team in delivering deadlines.
US GAAP Accounting
  • Ensure monthly accounts reconciliation are done correctly and timely.
  • Payroll Accounting of Saudi Arabia and other entities in Middle East region.
  • Assist offshore teams to finalize accruals and prepayment for month end close.
Statutory/Tax Accounting
  • Assist local team for finalization of local financial statements as per IFRS.
  • Assisting in filing of taxes (Direct and Indirect) for Middle East entities, contacting relationship manager of tax authorities of Saudi Arabia and other Middle East countries.
  • Ensure all statutory requirements of Accenture are accomplished.

  • Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
Ideal candidate should be
  • Undergraduate degree in finance, accounting
  • Prior experience (4-5 years) in all accounting operations
  • Background experience in consultancy or tech industries is preferred
  • English language proficiency
