In this role, you will lead our success by:

• Leveraging a strong Clinical Engineering background with experience in medical diagnostic equipment.
• Utilizing expertise in instrumentation, diagnostic software, PLCs, and electronic systems.
• Applying extensive knowledge in technical fault finding, schematics, electronic diagrams, advanced troubleshooting, and industry-standard test equipment.
• Managing your designated area and building strong customer relationships on a daily basis.
• Coordinating preventative maintenance schedules, planning stock requirements, and liaising regularly with corporate headquarters while providing weekly updates to supervisors.
• Responding urgently to customer requests.
• Familiarity with maintenance schedules, diagnostic checks, and calibration of electronic components.
• Demonstrating technical project management skills and adaptability to a shift roster, with a willingness to travel extensively, including international assignments.

Our support environment operates 24/7, 365 days a year, as we provide emergency services critical to human health. The instruments you will work with range from small bench-top analyzers to larger integrated systems and automation lines, primarily in Chemistry, Immunochemistry, and Hematology.

Engineers receive tasks via our dispatch center, with all jobs recorded on laptop technology for real-time debriefing and synchronization to ensure availability for assignments.

We are looking for talent that possesses:

• A Bachelor of Science in Engineering—Biomedical, Clinical, or Electronic.
• An equivalent technical qualification related to diagnostics, fault finding, and troubleshooting.
• Preferably two years of relevant experience.
• Self-motivation and strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Punctuality and the ability to meet deadlines.
• A proven capacity to interface with diverse technical disciplines.
