Job Description
- Minimum 5 years experience
- Experience of working in industrial locations desireable
- Physically fit - all workers undergo a site medical prior to admission
- Experience in complete installation of fibre installation/remediation work:
Pulling of fibre
Installation of fibre equipment including cabinets
Termination
Splicing
Dressing and labelling of fibres
Working with low level DC power (12-50v)
- Experience with Cisco switches
- Experience with Cat 5/6 Ethernet cables
- Additional experience with VHF/UHF radios also an advantage.
- The successful candidate will be expected to work on site for up to 28 days at a time, followed by 14 days rest.
