Job Description

  • Developing lesson plans and teaching swimming skills and techniques to students of all ages and skill levels.
  • Tracking and recording student attendance, progress, and performance data to ensure that they are meeting their swimming goals.
  • Collaborating with other staff members to manage inventory and order supplies needed for swimming lessons and pool maintenance.
  • Developing and adapting instructional materials and methods to ensure that students of all skill levels receive appropriate guidance and support.

Skills

  • Must be able to develop lesson plans and keep accurate records of student progress and attendance.
  • Should be able to identify and mitigate potential safety hazards in the pool area, such as slippery surfaces or malfunctioning equipment.
  • Must have strong organizational skills to keep track of lesson plans, student attendance, and progress reports.
  • Need to maintain a healthy lifestyle and fitness regimen to be physically capable of teaching and performing rescue operations.
