We are looking for a Materials Planner, providing consistently Materials Requirement Plan, complying with Raw & Pack Inventory Policies.
Focus of this role is to:
Review Raw & Pack inventory levels against stock cover policy on a regular basis and align with procurement team on the needed requirementsCheck weekly and monthly production plans from Raw & Pack availability perspective and coordinate with production planner for production plans adherenceCoordinate with Factory Logistics team for receiving prioritiesCoordinate with QC Team for inspection prioritiesReview stock cover policy for Raw & Pack to cover against Demand & Supply VariabilityCreate feasible production plan within DSP period as per the agreed rules and taking into consideration the factory situation (Line availability, capacity, resources, etc)Ensure Materials availability and avoid line stoppagesEnsure Supply to fulfill the Business targets
A DAY IN THE LIFE …
Functional Responsibilities Cost and service: Define clear rules to be used for planning in the factory and align with all stakeholders. These rules must take into consideration the Business objectives and Priorities. Review regularly the rules based on the evolving environment and factory situation.
Service: Create feasible and optimized materials plan taking into consideration Lead Times, Minimum Order Quantity, Total Shelf Life, Targeted Service Level and Demand & Supply Variability.
Process Compliance: Facilitate and create alignment in weekly planning reviews. Provide key outputs involving multiple functions in monthly Planning Reviews (Demand & Supply Team, Production Planners, Business Unit, Supply Chain & Factory) to ensure alignment between Operations and Business
What will make you successful…
Academic Experience: Bachelor degree in Supply Chain / Procurement Operational Experience: Minimum 3 years’ experience of which 2 years at a supervisory level. + MRP (Material Requirement Planning)
