Job Description

Role Purpose


Responsible for delivering managing professionals to deliver high-quality procurement & sourcing services. Responsible for leading sourcing efforts, identifying potential suppliers, leading negotiation efforts to drive best value for the company across the Facilities Management category. This role involves autonomously sourcing FM requirements, providing quality assurance on activities from junior resources, stakeholder relationship management, and ensuring the timely delivery of projects.


Responsibilities


  • Lead the preparation of RFP/RFQs in the Facilities Management Category independently with minimal support and oversight.
  • Identifying suppliers, initiating contracts, establishing business and organizational partnerships.
  • Lead execution of variation orders in-line with governance structures including DoA, Policy and Procedures.
  • Support the evaluation of existing supplier capabilities and maintain relationships with key vendors.
  • Support in managing spend within the Facilities Management category, including category strategy development and implementation.
  • Support the identification of opportunities in the Facilities Management business plan focusing on high spend areas and driving cost-saving opportunities.
  • Support the development of best-practice processes in procurement
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather procurement requirements, provide quality assurance of scope & technical requirements.
  • Establish benchmarks in the Facilities Management category to be leveraged by the team.
  • Assist in drafting and reviewing contracts.
  • Ensure contracts align with organizational goals and legal requirements.
  • Monitor contract performance and address issues as needed.
  • Foster a culture of long-term cost savings in procurement and champion cost-savings initiatives in Facilities Procurement.
  • Negotiate with suppliers to achieve favorable terms
  • Own the monitoring of achieved savings / value creation across the FM category.
