We are seeking an experienced Facility Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance, safety, and general upkeep of the school's facilities. This includes managing daily operations, coordinating with external vendors, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and supporting the overall learning environment. The Facility Manager will play a vital role in ensuring that Dar Al-Thiker's physical infrastructure remains well-maintained and contributes to a safe, positive, and conducive educational atmosphere for both students and staff.


Key Responsibilities


  • Facility Operations: Oversee daily operations of school facilities, including classrooms, offices, recreational areas, and grounds. Ensure the effective functioning of building systems such as HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and security.
  • Maintenance and Repairs: Implement preventive maintenance schedules and manage repairs. Coordinate with school leadership and external service providers for minor renovations or adjustments.
  • IT & Procurement Support: Collaborate with the IT department to ensure proper setup and availability of IT resources. Work with the procurement team to ensure timely availability of facility-related supplies and manage inventory.
  • Health, Safety, and Compliance: Ensure compliance with local regulations and safety standards. Conduct regular safety inspections and maintain emergency response plans.
  • Collaboration and Support: Work closely with school administration and staff to address facility needs. Provide operational support during school events and liaise with contractors and vendors.
