Job Description

Role Summary:


The Executive Planner is responsible for managing material requirements to support production processes in a pharmaceutical environment and developing and maintaining production schedules to ensure the timely and efficient delivery of pharmaceutical products. This role ensures the availability of materials, minimizes waste, and optimizes inventory levels, contributing to efficient and effective production operations. This role requires hands-on experience with SAP and involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize production plans and resolve material, scheduling or capacity challenges.


Responsibilities : 


1.Material Requirements Planning (MRP):


Utilize the MRP module within SAP to manage material requirements planning.


Ensure materials and resources are available to meet production schedules.


2. Production Planning:


Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, purchasing, and logistics, to develop and execute production plans.


Adjust production plans based on demand patterns and forecasts.


3. Inventory Management:


Monitor and maintain inventory levels to minimize waste and reduce lead times.


Implement strategies to optimize stock levels while ensuring material availability.


4. Data Analysis and Forecasting:


Analyze demand trends and forecast future material requirements.


Provide insights to production and supply chain teams to ensure proactive planning.


5. Record Maintenance:


  • Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, production orders, and material movements within SAP.
  • Ensure master data accuracy for material planning and production execution processes.

Qualifications:


  • A minimum of 2 to 4 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Pharmaceutical or a related field .
  • Proficiency in the MRP module within SAP, including master data maintenance, planning, and production execution processes.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
  • Problem solving and decision making.
  • Strong Communication Skills.
