Job Description
We are seeking a seasoned Executive Head Chef to spearhead the kitchen operations of a new high-volume restaurant in Riyadh. This role is part of a broader strategy to launch several restaurant ventures in the region. You will lead a dynamic kitchen team, oversee food preparation and presentation, and ensure that all culinary activities adhere to top-notch standards of quality and hygiene.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise a team of 12-14 kitchen staff, guiding them to consistently deliver excellent results.
- Develop innovative menu items and new dishes as per requirements.
- Oversee the entire process of food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards within the kitchen.
- Maintain food quality and aesthetic presentation to meet company standards.
- Manage relationships with suppliers and handle purchasing needs.
- Control food costs by reducing waste, controlling portion sizes, and minimizing spoilage.
- Train, recruit, and nurture kitchen staff, fostering a productive working environment.
- Collaborate with the UK-based team to design creative menus for special events.
- Plan rosters and guarantee adequate staffing for each shift.
- Estimate and manage food and beverage costs on a weekly basis.
