Job Description
The Head of Workplace will be responsible for all Qiddiya’s Workplace Planning and Management. This role encompasses strategy, asset management (qiddiya office only), property and facilities management.
Will act as the QIC (Qiddiya Investment Co) Client Representative to champion the organisational needs and develop a Client Brief to inform the development of the Qiddiya Office Campus. This pivotal role encompasses leading the development of a Workplace Strategy and Client Brief for the Qiddiya Office Campus as well as assisting the organisation to manage its interim office solutions until the new purpose built campus is operational.
This role will encompass the corporate QIC property and facilities management function and the facilities management team will report to the Head of Workplace.
Ultimately, the Head of Workplace will be a key team member to help drive the creation and management of workplace environments that foster productivity, innovation, and collaboration, ensuring these spaces align with QIC business objectives and the evolving needs of QIC's workforce.
The ideal candidate will combine expertise in workplace strategy, employee experience, facilities management, sustainable and forward-thinking workplaces.
Key Responsibilities:
- Workplace Strategy: Lead creation and implementation of a workplace strategy to address both interim business needs as well as the overarching, longer-term strategy, including the development of a Client Brief for the Qiddiya Office Campus.
- Work with HR and the Corporate Functions and Business Unit (BU) leads to ensure the workplace strategy is in alignment with QIC workforce planning / headcount projections to support the business growth over time.
- As a member of the Workplace Committee, this role involves setting, implementation, and governance of QIC workplace strategies
- Workplace Solutions: in collaboration with the facilities management team, manage the short term business office leasing strategy, and readiness of interim office spaces, ensuring they meet operational, quality, and compliance standards while adhering to timelines and budgets.
- Operational Management: Lead the Property and Corporate Facilities Management team to oversee day-to-day workplace operations, ensure seamless integration of workplace solutions, maintain high standards of functionality, employee experience and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards across all workspaces as per business and regulatory requirements.
- Stakeholder Management: Act as the central point of contact for workplace-related matters, working closely with HR, facilities management, CDU, Office BU Lead and individual project teams.
- Promote sustainability initiatives within the workplace in line with the company ESG policy, including energy efficiency programs; waste reduction and recycling; water conservation and Green building initiatives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including Workplace Committee Members, Management Committee Members, Business Unit Leads, CDU, etc.
- Work closely with the HR team to collect and incorporate employee feedback to continuously refine and improve QIC workspace strategy and requirements.
