Event Architect

We are partnering with a well-established Events Management company specializing in creating innovative and memorable experiences in KSA. They are seeking a skilled Architect with experience in designing and overseeing event spaces, temporary structures, and unique venues to help elevate the quality and impact of their events. 

The Architect will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and implementing architectural elements for events, exhibitions, and temporary structures. This role requires a creative mind, technical expertise, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including event managers, designers, and contractors, to bring architectural visions to life.

Main Responsibilities:

1. Architectural Design & Planning:

• Develop creative architectural concepts for event spaces, pavilions, exhibition stands, and temporary installations.
• Ensure designs are functional, aesthetically appealing, and aligned with the events goals and branding.
• Produce detailed plans, drawings, and 3D models using AutoCAD, Revit, or similar architectural software.

2. Collaboration & Coordination:

• Work closely with event planners, designers, engineers, and production teams to ensure seamless integration of architecture into event design.
• Coordinate with external contractors, suppliers, and vendors to ensure proper execution of designs.
• Oversee the installation and dismantling of temporary structures and ensure adherence to design specifications.

3. Project Management:

• Lead architectural projects from concept to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
• Conduct site surveys and evaluate venues to assess spatial constraints and possibilities.
• Monitor construction and installation progress, addressing any design challenges that arise on-site.

4. Compliance & Safety:

• Ensure designs comply with local building codes, safety regulations, and sustainability standards.
• Ensure accessibility and safety features are incorporated into designs.

5. Innovation & Trend Analysis:

• Stay updated with the latest trends in event architecture and spatial design.
• Experiment with new materials, technologies, and sustainable solutions for temporary and permanent structures.

6. Documentation & Reporting:

• Prepare documentation, reports, and presentations for internal stakeholders and clients.
• Maintain detailed records of architectural plans, materials used, and post-event evaluations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors or Masters Degree in Architecture or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in architectural design.
• Proven experience in designing for events, exhibitions, or temporary structures.
• Strong understanding of structural engineering, materials, and construction techniques for both permanent and temporary builds.
• Experience in event production and collaboration with event management teams is highly desirable.
