About the job ESTIMATOR
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Estimator, to join our team in the Gas Increment project within our EPC Oil & Gas division. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of experience in estimating for large-scale oil and gas projects and will be proficient in using tools such as Aspen Capital Cost Program or K-Base 56-D form (Estimate Summary Sheet). The candidate must be familiar with Aramco standards and be based in Saudi Arabia.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide accurate and detailed cost estimates for the Gas Increment project, ensuring that all materials, labor, and equipment are appropriately costed.
- Use Aspen Capital Cost Program or K-Base 56-D form (Estimate Summary Sheet) to generate and validate cost estimates.
- Analyze and review project drawings, specifications, and other documents to develop estimates.
- Coordinate with other departments and project teams to obtain relevant data for cost estimation.
- Ensure that all estimates comply with Aramcos standards and guidelines.
- Assist in the preparation of tender documents and the evaluation of contractor proposals.
- Perform risk analysis and cost contingency assessments.
- Review and update estimates as required based on design changes, material cost fluctuations, or other project developments.
- Support project management teams in budget tracking and cost control efforts.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends, material costs, and industry best practices.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in estimating for EPC oil and gas projects.
- Proficiency in Aspen Capital Cost Program or K-Base 56-D form (Estimate Summary Sheet).
- In-depth knowledge of Aramco standards and regulations is highly desirable.
- Solid understanding of cost estimating techniques and principles in the oil and gas industry.
- Ability to develop comprehensive estimates for all phases of project execution.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage competing priorities.
- Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Familiarity with the Gas Increment project or similar oil and gas projects is a plus.
- Based in Saudi Arabia (preferably in Al Khobar or willing to relocate).
