We are seeking an experienced Estimation Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately estimating the costs of engineering projects and providing support to the project management team. The Estimation Engineer will analyze project specifications, conduct site visits, and collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure accurate and competitive project bids.
Responsibilities:
Analyze project specifications and drawings to prepare accurate cost estimates
Conduct site visits to gather necessary information for estimating purposes
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather input for estimates
Prepare and submit competitive bids for engineering projects
Review and analyze project contracts and terms to ensure compliance with estimating requirements
Provide support to the project management team throughout the project lifecycle
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
Proven work experience as an Estimation Engineer or similar role
Strong understanding of engineering principles and construction methods
Proficiency in estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent analytical and mathematical skills
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
