Job Summary & Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related field.
Experience:
7-10 years of experience in enterprise IT architecture, with at least 5 years focused on cloud architecture. Extensive experience in designing and deploying solutions on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Proven experience leading cloud adoption and transformation initiatives in large enterprises.
Certification Required:
Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Google Professional Cloud Architect.
Job Description:
The
Cloud Enterprise Architect is responsible for designing and overseeing the organization's cloud infrastructure strategy. This role ensures that cloud services are aligned with the business's overall technology goals, optimizing performance, scalability, and security across public, private, and hybrid cloud environments. The Cloud Enterprise Architect leads the design, migration, governance, and integration of cloud systems with on-premise infrastructure, while working closely with stakeholders and technical teams to meet business objectives.
Detailed Responsibilities:
Cloud Architecture Design:
Design scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud infrastructure architectures (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS). Develop architecture blueprints for cloud services, platforms, and integrations aligned with business strategies. Ensure seamless integration between cloud services and on-premise infrastructure.
Cloud Strategy & Roadmap Development:
Lead cloud adoption strategies, including migration, optimization, and governance. Create detailed roadmaps for infrastructure modernization, application migration, and cloud-native solutions.
Cloud Migration & Transformation:
Design and manage cloud migration projects, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations. Optimize for cloud-native capabilities such as elasticity, resilience, and security.
Cloud Security & Governance:
Implement security measures, including identity management, encryption, and network security. Develop and enforce governance frameworks to comply with organizational policies and industry regulations.
Cost Optimization & Performance Tuning:
Evaluate cloud resource usage and implement cost-efficient strategies. Leverage cloud elasticity and pay-as-you-go models to reduce unnecessary costs.
Skills & Expertise:
Strong proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and cloud-native technologies (containers, serverless, microservices). Experience with cloud automation tools (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation) and CI/CD pipelines. Deep understanding of cloud security best practices and technologies (IAM, encryption, firewalls). Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to convey complex cloud architectures to technical and non-technical stakeholders. Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities. Business acumen with an understanding of how cloud architecture impacts overall business strategy.
