Job Overview:
As an Engineering Supervisor, you will oversee the maintenance and repair of the hotel's facilities, ensuring that all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems are functioning efficiently. You will lead a team of engineers and technicians, ensuring that all maintenance tasks are completed promptly and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervision: Lead and supervise the engineering team, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure efficient operations.
- Maintenance and Repairs: Oversee the maintenance and repair of all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems within the hotel, including HVAC, lighting, and water systems.
- Preventive Maintenance: Develop and implement a preventive maintenance program to ensure the longevity and reliability of hotel equipment and systems.
- Emergency Response: Respond promptly to any maintenance emergencies, ensuring that issues are resolved quickly and efficiently to minimize disruption to hotel operations.
- Safety and Compliance: Ensure that all maintenance activities comply with hotel policies, local regulations, and safety standards. Conduct regular safety inspections and audits.
- Budget Management: Manage the engineering department's budget, ensuring that all expenses are within allocated limits and that cost-saving measures are implemented where possible.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, including work orders, inspections, and repairs.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to address maintenance needs and ensure a seamless guest experience.
Qualifications:
- Education: Diploma or degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Experience: Proven experience as an Engineering Supervisor or in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
- Skills:
- Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
