Steps from the Prophet’s Mosque, our Hotel will offer luxury accommodation for the city’s 1.5 million annual visitors. The new-build hotel will be located at the heart of Madinah and steps from one of the most historic and significant sites in the region: Al-Masjid an-Nabawi, also known as the Prophet’s Mosque. Madinah is also home to the Quba Mosque, which is regarded as the oldest mosque in the world.

About the Role:

As Engineering Supervisor, you will assist with the daily scheduling of projects and tasks and will assist in the training, supervision, scheduling of the engineering staff as well as with energy conservation and recycling programs at the hotel.

What you will do:

• Maintain all logs and reports in compliance with local laws and regulations.
• Utilize the purchasing system to acquire parts and outside services necessary for maintaining and repairing hotel equipment and facilities.
• Generate work orders and track their completion through the electronic work order system, ensuring follow-up on repair quality and guest satisfaction.
• Participate in property inspections alongside department heads and assistant department heads.
• Ensure that all equipment logs, meter readings, chemical logs, and energy logs are accurate and up to date.
• Implement and oversee preventive maintenance for all equipment, public spaces, guest rooms, and back-of-house areas, updating relevant logs accordingly.
• Respond to emergency situations, such as fires, power failures, and leaks, as a member of the Emergency Response Team.

What you will bring:

• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• Trade school certification in mechanics, refrigeration, or related fields.
• A minimum of two to five years of experience in a similar role, preferably within Four Seasons or a comparable environment.
• Working technical knowledge of general building maintenance.
• Proficiency in operating computer equipment.
• Familiarity with plan drawings, wiring diagrams, and hydraulic systems.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Previous supervisory experience is preferred.
