Job Description

Job Description Location: Dhahran · Managing the Engineering management plan/schedule for the change activities undertaken by the Naval Technical Training Operations team providing monthly reports on progress, issues and re-prioritising activities as required. · Be the main point of contact for organising and coordinating engineering management procedures, by supporting the Head of Operations in managing the continuous improvements in the processes, procedures and toolsets, to share and adopt best practice across the Project. · Develop and maintain the Engineering Management plans. · Coordinate the inputs, outputs associated with the DOORS requirements management process to provide an accurate status of compliance within the Project. · Provide support to the Project in terms of Configuration and Change management, Requirements Management, Acceptance and Handover, LCM tailoring, Design Reviews and Technical Bid Reviews in accordance with BAE Systems processes; Maintain an accurate audit trail of Engineering management activities that have been implemented across the Project courseware portfolio;· Broader Project responsibilities as required by the Project Management team. · The candidate will have a degree in an engineering related discipline ideally with a minimum of 8 years practical experience and 2 years’ experience in a management position · Have worked a minimum of two years in a similar role that must include communications, networking and engineering project management experience; · Have the ability to work to demanding deadlines, ensuring a high degree of accuracy, paying due regard to attention to detail, contractual key performance indicators, and customer perception and feedback; · Have practical experience in the delivery of a Prime Contract; · Have extensive knowledge of Engineering Management and its application within a customer-facing environment; · Have experience in the application of requirements management, handover and acceptance; · A working knowledge and experience in the application of Engineering management within an engineering technical training domain would be advantageous; · A working knowledge of Product Safety & Environment (PS&E) policy and process as applied to the delivery of acceptably safe systems; · A working knowledge of key systems engineering processes and toolsets would be advantageous i.e. DOORS for requirements management; · Ideally have a working knowledge of Engineering Life-Cycle Management (ELCM); · Ideally have knowledge and experience in understanding and resolving complex technical training issues; · Have a minimum of two years’ experience in a Military Engineering/Support environment ideally within the naval or Air Force domains; · Ideally have a knowledge and understanding of BAE Systems Saudi Arabia (BAESSA) processes and procedures; · Be knowledgeable of Export Control Requirements and may be required to handle Export Controlled/ITAR Data.
