Job Description
Responsibilities:
Lead and oversee work teams across architectural, construction, civil, mechanical, and electrical disciplines in large-scale projects.
Utilize proficiency in engineering systems, calculations, methodologies, materials, and computer applications to drive project success.
Ensure compliance with industry codes, regulatory standards, engineering procedures, and design standards across all engineering specialties.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives and provide support for talent development within the engineering team.
Demonstrate proven leadership capabilities in guiding teams towards project milestones and objectives.
Utilize advanced oral and written communication skills to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, architects, procurement specialists, and quality assurance professionals, to ensure seamless project integration and successful delivery of engineering objectives.
Utilize project management principles to plan, execute, and monitor the progress of engineering activities, ensuring adherence to project schedules and budgets.
Drive an environment of safety, quality, and efficiency across engineering operations, promoting best practices and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
Provide technical expertise and guidance in the evaluation of new technologies, methodologies, and materials to enhance project outcomes and deliver innovative solutions.
Lead the development and execution of engineering strategies aligned with organizational goals, driving efficiency, excellence, and customer satisfaction.
Mentor and coach engineering staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning, professional development, and high performance within the team.
Assume responsibility for risk management, identifying potential engineering risks, and implementing mitigation strategies to maintain project integrity and minimize disruptions.
Engage in client interactions to understand project requirements, address technical inquiries, and build strong and lasting relationships.
Essential Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or science from a Ministry-accredited university.
Minimum 15 years of practical experience in engineering management in major projects, with a focus on design engineering, new systems, and site engineering services.
Extensive supervision experience, particularly in procurement, construction, contracts, and quality assurance.
Proven leadership capabilities in leading work teams across multiple engineering disciplines in large-scale projects.
Comprehensive knowledge of industry codes, regulatory standards, engineering procedures, and design standards.
Track record in driving continuous improvement and supporting talent development initiatives.
