Job Responsibilities:


  • Conduct comprehensive testing on substation equipment:


  • Develop and implement test plans based on industry standards, engineering specifications, and equipment manuals.


  • Analyze test data to identify discrepancies, potential problems, and ensure equipment performance meets specifications.


  • Prepare detailed test reports documenting test procedures, results, recommendations, and corrective actions.


  • Troubleshoot electrical equipment malfunctions and diagnose the root cause of problems.


  • Participate in commissioning activities for new or upgraded substation equipment.


  • Maintain accurate records of all testing activities and equipment calibration certificates.


  • May assist with preventive maintenance programs for substation equipment (depending on the company).


  • Stay up to date on industry standards, testing procedures, and new technologies related to substation testing.


Academic Qualification:


  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering 


  •  Work Experience 4 to 10 Years: 


  • Strong understanding of electrical power systems and substation equipment.


  • Experience using electrical testing equipment and data analysis tools.


  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.


  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.


  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to safety procedures.
