Position Summary:
• Ensuring the quality of work and safety in the plant.
• Responsible for maintenance and inspection of plant equipment's & NG facility.
• Prepare reports for plant equipment.
• Prepare and maintain ISO documents
• States work instruction clearly and directly to Subordinates
(Supervisor/Foreman/Technician)
• Reporting to the higher authorities regarding any abnormalities.
Major Responsibilities & Duties performed:
1. Responsible for inspection, preventive maintenance and lubrication of plant equipment's
and NG facility.
2. Ensure plant equipment's reliable and available for production.
3. Immediate action on all the activities related to online maintenance.
4. Ensuring the quality of work and safety in the plant.
5. Review daily PM checklist and prepare reports for equipment abnormalities and follow-up
for corrective action with concern person.
6. Prepare daily vibration analysis report and analyze it, reporting to higher authorities for any
abnormal vibration.
7. Prepare ISO documents and maintain it.
8. Check the availability of Manpower in all areas with respective
supervisor/Foremen/Technician.
9. Planning for the concerned area activity and identifying improvement activity and making
arrangement for the same.
10. Identifying the required inspection tools for the section.
11. Annual review of the lubrication program of the plant equipment.
12. Annual review of the thickness monitoring program.
13. Annual review of the plant inspection program.
14. Annual review of the plant vibration & temperature monitoring program
15. Maintaining the preventive maintenance spares of concerned area.
16. Reporting near miss and accident if any to safety department and concern dept.
17. Ensuring the Spare availability of concern area related equipment.
18. Conducting required Training for Subordinates (Supervisor/Foreman/Technician)
19. Close Co-ordination with Process and other Departments.
20. Reporting day-to-day Activity to concern Superintendent / Assistant Manager.
21. Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
22. To understand and follow the organizational HS&E policies.
23. To follow safety instructions related to their jobs.
24. To report damaged PPE, unsafe machines or equipment to concerned staff.
25. To keep the provided PPEs in good, workable conditions.
26. To avoid any horseplay and abuse of safety devices, equipment and welfare facilities.
27. To report any accidents, near misses or hazardous conditions to concerned responsible.
28. To attend safety trainings planned for them.
29. Having a right to say "NO" to any unsafe work.
Competencies:
Experienced in maintenance and troubleshooting of process plant and equipment like Pumps, Gear
box, Compressor, Blower, Conveyor belt, cooling tower, and heat exchanger.
Knowledge of basic computer like word excel PowerPoint and AutoCAD.
Knowledge of quality management system.
