Job Description

Be responsible for managing all works related lifting operations including Engineering, Plan, Technical, Organize, Implement & Monitor with Project & Operation teams. Conduct routine checks and inspections of works on site to ensure compliance with authorities and client’s requirements. Must be deals with the planning, design and execution of operations involving the movement of extremely heavy or oversized load. He is responsible to provide credible and specialized engineering analysis to advise on the most optimum and cost-effective methods of utilizing required lifting equipment for critical operations.


  1.   Principal Accountabilities: (the 6-9 main areas of responsibility)


·       Study & aware about project specification related with lifting activities.


·       Identify the lifting activities and its requirements such as load, height etc


·       Prepare & follow the approvals of lifting plan and technical submittals as per the type of lifting and activities in coordinate with Engineering, Safety, Environment, Quality, Project & Construction team.


·       Prepare check lists & implement the lifting works as per lifting plan


·       Be responsible for managing day-to-day lifting operations.


·       Organize, supervise and liaise closely with project and construction teams on all ongoing lifting activities.


·       Conduct routine checks and inspections of works on site to ensure compliance with authorities' and client's requirements.


·       Test materials and components used in structures and machinery.


·       Review project safety (e.g. lifting plans, etc.)


·       Ensuring all relevant lifting equipment performance, certification and condition data are recorded accurately for input into the Company’s data recording system


·       Defining standards for and participating in the monitoring and assessment of lifting operations.


·       Contributing to conjunction with HSE Dept. to the Site’s safety effectiveness through recommending improvements in procedures and work practices.


·       Promote a continuous improvement culture within the team.


·       Adhere to the Company’s Health, Safety & Environment policies, procedures, and standards.


·       Providing technical advice on matters pertaining to lifting operations deviations or non-compliance


·       Providing support to Maintenance Teams as necessary in the detail and execution of preventative and corrective maintenance activities on all lifting equipment.


·       Analyse the lifting reports and implement the improvements as per requirement.

2.     Degree


Degree in Civil or Mechanical or Any Engineering


3.     Years of Experience:


Minimum 05 years of experience in Heavy Lifting Operation with approved certificates
