An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Engineer in the Red Sea region,on a remote location.
About the Job:
 


  • Supervises and manages the daily activities of all Engineering Department supervisors and subordinates.  
  • Observes activities to ensure adherence to policies and operating procedures.  
  • Ensure that the property and assets are maintained in the highest order through the management of the “Jumeirah Engineering Management System” and the appointment of suitable competent personnel.
  • Monitor completed repair and maintenance works to ensure that established standards have been met.  
  • Assist in the implementation, co-ordination, and monitoring of the JEMS (Jumeirah Engineering Management System), including the Fire, Life and Safety Matrix, PPM, and Work Order Systems.  
  • Manages grievances, suggestions, and complaints by colleagues and recommends appropriate action to the Director of Engineering/Chief Engineer.  


About you:
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
 


  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and project management skills with a detail-oriented approach.
  • 8-10 years of post-qualification experience in a luxury hotel setting, ensuring high standards of operational excellence.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office programs for effective data management and reporting.
  • In-depth knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and energy-efficient practices.
  • Proficient in CMMS Systems, AutoCAD, Energy Management, HVAC, electrical systems, intelligent lighting systems, and BMS applications.
