An exciting opportunity is available for Engineer III, Services Located in Jubail, KSA
Job Purpose
Service Contract Engineer work as a liaison between Procurement and Central Maintenance department and initiates the Annual Rate Contract (ARC) Service process, provide the expertise in analysis, evaluation, qualification, and technical evaluation of Contractors. He will ensure all ARCs are active and available for the Maintenance and fulfill end user’s service requirements.
Role responsibilities:
- Shall ensure the timely renewal of ARC agreement for all Services.
- Shall coordinate with Procurement department for the establishment new or renewal of ARC.
- Shall confirm the SOW completeness, initiate sourcing request in SAP ARIBA and communicate to procurement.
- Shall initiate the technical proposal reviewing process and obtain Technical Input from End user Specialists/Engineers and perform technical evaluation in ARIBA.
- Shall communicate any additional/newly introduced ARC services to the End Users.
- Shall prepare and update the ARC Contacts list and share to End users every 6 months or when new ARC established.
- Shall ensure & approve permanent IDs are issued for the Centralized ARC manpower to be stationed in the complex.
- Ensure all the ARC contracts services are adhere to safe working practices and housekeeping standards and compliance with company procedures.
- Shall conduct site audit for permanent resident contractors at least once in a year and ensure that the stationed equipment and manpower are monitored, and Safety is always maintained.
- Shall conduct the Contractor performance evaluation meeting at least twice a year, review the End-user feedback and communicate with Procurement Business Partner.
- Shall record the ARC service noncompliance report and organize kick off meeting and other meetings related to ARC services noncompliance issues.
- Shall communicate the justification provided by End user to the Procurement Department for the approved budget exhausted services.
- Maintains and fosters collaborative working relations between company and contractors.
- Ensure compliance to EHSM, IMRS and all relevant safety, quality, and environmental management procedures.
- Involve in implementation of safety improvements initiation through work groups and contractor resources.
- Responsible and accountable for any other roles and responsibilities outlined in IMRS elements.
Qualification and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in similar industry.
