II. POSITION SUMMARY


The MyHR Employee Support position sits on the MyHR MEET and reports to the MyHR Supervisor. They serve as the “Face of HR” to the general population of employees, and therefore play a critical role in the development and evolution of the Air Products employee experience. This MyHR team is responsible for ensuring that HR support and HR operations meet the organizational objectives, is rapidly responsive to employee and manager needs, and integrates with the other functions within the HR team for consistency. 


III, NATURE AND SCOPE


The MyHR Employee Support is an employee facing role assisting employees with a variety of HR related inquires as well as triaging inquiries to assign to other teams as appropriate.  Day to day duties include answering employee inquiries, documenting those inquiries in the Case Management tool, maintaining personnel files, verification of employment, employee lifecycle administration and paperwork as well as various other duties.



This individual is expected to be knowledgeable in HR Policies & Processes, how HR operates, how to expedite solutions and be a reliable source of accurate information to employees.  The position requires excellent communication and problem-solving skills, high performance, and work ethic to drive to completion, as well as the ability to relate to people at all levels of the organization to help resolve issues. 
 


IV. DIMENSIONS:


This position will be based at Air Products HQ located in DTV, Saudi Arabia. The MyHR Employee Support position is part of the MyHR Team that supports Middle East business operations which includes approximately 600 employees.


V. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES


This position is accountable for the following end results:


Receive and respond to general HR questions and concerns from employees:


  • Understand and explain HR policies/procedures/processes to provide accurate guidance to employees.

Create and distribute accurate documents relating to the employee lifecycle. i.e. Contracts of employment, onboarding checks, employment letters, leaves of absence etc. Knows how to use HR tools and programs (Workday, LearnEx (AP's learning portal), local time/attendance, etc.) to be able to support employees in day-to-day activities and encourage direct access.  Support employee understanding and execution of day-to-day HR processes:  Ensure cases are handled efficiently and accurately escalated when appropriate. Process employees’ requests and provide relevant information in accordance with company policies. Expedite case escalations to CoEs (Benefits, Diversity & Inclusion, Employee Experience, Learning & Development, etc.) to improve and streamline HR processes based on interactions with employees. Process all related invoices to MyHR. Send out monthly headcount to HR and GAP team. Process mobilization & onboarding for new hires. Process Background check requests.


V.  MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS                                 


  • 0-3 years’ experience in a customer care role in a Human Resource setting
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with employees in the organization.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment; be adaptable to change and process focused.
  • Willingness to working in a team environment and having flexibility with team coverage.
  • The ability to prioritize and multi-task.
  • Experience and skills with Microsoft software suite; Workday or other HRIS experience a plus
  • Presence – ability to represent the company, be a credible source of information, and influence understanding and positive outcomes.
  • Integrity – act with integrity and in accordance with the company Code of Conduct and Core values. Ability to confront behavior not consistent with company values.  Honors commitments and follows through to completion.
  • Problem solving skills – decisions that reflect thorough evaluation of needs, goals, etc.
  • Result focused – demonstrated ability to close issues, personal accountability for results, able to manage priorities to ensure nothing is dropped.
