ELECTRICAL ENGINEER

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer with 7-10 years of experience to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing electrical engineering tasks related to energy and substation projects and acting as a key client representative.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Experience in FEED and Detail Engineering projects for Substation, Power and Industrial Projects.
• Technically competent in all aspects of Electrical engineering.
• Experience in development of power system studies and specifications; design of HV, LV power distribution systems for electrical networks, Load List, Single line diagrams, schematics wiring diagrams, Switchyard & Substation design (115kV and above), Emergency Power design, HV& LV Cable sizing, all equipment sizing like Transformer, Switchgear, Bus duct, Capacitor bank, UPS & Battery sizing etc, Cable tray/Cable routing layouts, underground duct design, indoor & outdoor lighting design and layout, Earthing and lightning protection design, Electrical equipment specifications/datasheets, etc.
• Proficient with Gas Insulated Switchgears (GIS) for the voltage rating more than 115kV System.
• Experience in Overhead Transmission Line (OHTL) of the voltage 34.5kV and above.
• Conversant in Procurement activities like Preparation of Material Requisition, Technical Bid Evaluation, Vendor drawing review and approval etc.
• Conversant with ARAMCO Standards and International & National industry Standards and Codes like IEC, IEEE, NEC Codes for Electrical items and systems.
• Proficient with ETAP, DIAlux software
• ARAMCO Project Experience is mandatory.
• Perform FEED/Conflict Verification and preparation of report by verifying FEED design compliance to ARAMCO standard.
• Ensure all work carried out conforms with agreed codes and practices, meets all requirements of the contracts specification and ensure all work is carried out within agreed schedules, budgets and procedures in safe manner Coordination, guidance, mentoring, and supervision for design and engineering.
• Co-ordinate, interface and provide inputs to other disciplines.
• Co-ordination with equipment suppliers for expediting Offer, TQ response, Vendor drawings etc.
• Provide required inputs on Manhours and MTO for Change Order against Variations/Scope changes.
• Technical assistance to Site for Erection & Commissioning of Electrical equipment at Substation and Plant Electrics.
• May work independently on special assignments or as part of a working team.
• Contributing to team workshops and discussions; sharing knowledge with other team members.
• Working within the company's quality-assured delivery processes and delivering output to the required level of quality.
• Maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and ensuring that all contacts with our customers
• Assist, as required, in the development of department standards and procedures.
• Travel as required to ensure the successful execution of project goals.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 8-12 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering, particularly in the energy and substation sectors.
• ARAMCO experience preferred
• Strong understanding of electrical codes, standards, and regulations.
• Proven experience with HV/EHV Substation projects of voltage 115kV and above, particularly in energy and substation projects.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
• Professional certification (preferred but not required).
