Job Description
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and self-motivated individual to join our team as a Distribution Center Operations Officer. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our distribution center, ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of products to our customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics and supply chain management, with a proven ability to streamline processes and maximize productivity.
Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of distribution center operations, including inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipping logistics.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize warehouse layout and workflow, ensuring efficient use of space and resources.
- Monitor and assess key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify trends and address areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate inventory replenishment, forecasting, and product transfers.
- Train and develop a team of warehouse personnel, ensuring compliance with safety guidelines and company policies.
- Oversee the implementation of new technology and systems to improve overall efficiency and accuracy.
- Lead regular meetings with department heads to discuss operational goals, challenges, and strategies.
