Role Purpose
Responsible for aligning NEOM Regional Entities and Subsidiaries operational readiness metrics with NEOM’s strategic objectives, targets, and priorities. Responsible to assess entity capability to meet readiness plans and recommend mitigations, solutions and resources for any identified areas of improvement.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & ACTIVITIES
- Responsible for the development and upkeep of the NEOM Operational Readiness strategy and Framework.
- Responsible to improve the operational readiness framework through lessons learned and knowledge transfer.
- Work with cross-functional, Subsidiaries and Regional Stakeholders to implement Operational Readiness strategies.
- Translate Board and Company operational readiness goals into actionable strategies for our regions and subsidiaries.
- Maintain and foster relationships with all NEOM stakeholders, partners and external agencies.
- Lead and drive key initiatives that are transformative to NEOM.
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness across the organization.
- Review Stakeholder organizations key functions and organization chart to assess capability for operationalization of the strategies, assets and services.
- Responsible for the development and ongoing review of policies, processes, procedures (SOP’s) and systems related to operational readiness.
- Responsible for preparing reporting structures and reports to NEOM Peers, leadership, and Executive Committee (EXCOM).
- Responsible for knowledge transfer of best practices and procedures between regions and between sectors and entities
- Responsible for developing the data collection and analysis approach to create the reporting structure, reporting and dashboards for the frameworks.
Operational Delivery:
- Lead regional and sector peers to align and provide oversight and monitoring of operational readiness across NEOM.
- Collect, synthesize, report and enrich data gathering platform(s) across the company to allow the measuring of operational readiness.
- Responsible to produce weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports.
- Works collaboratively with NEOM stakeholders team to meet overall operational readiness goals and objectives, and milestones.
BACKGROUND, SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Essential:
- Proven experience in a start-up of a major enterprise.
- Proven experience in the development and implementation of operational readiness frameworks.
- Proven experience in managing complex inter department programs and initiatives.
- Excellent communication, administrative, reporting and presentation skills.
- Complex problem-solving capability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor/ Master’s Degree in a related discipline
- 15-20 years of leadership experience in large organization, an in an operating unit/function capacity
