Director - Performance Management, Strategy and Business Support



Job Description



Role Purpose:
Role will be driving force behind our financial and commercial strategy, working closely with executive leadership to shape the company’s growth trajectory. This role is a unique blend of strategic finance, commercial leadership, and operational excellence. To guide our budgeting and forecasting also drive initiatives that unlock new revenue streams, optimize costs, and increase profitability across the business.
Key Accountabilities:
1- Strategic Financial Leadership;
Spearhead our annual financial planning and forecasting processes, ensuring we align with Bupa CareConnect’s ambitious goals and our commitment to excellence in care. Design and execute financial strategies that empower the company to expand while maintaining strong fiscal responsibility.
2- Commercial Finance Excellence;
Lead commercial finance initiatives, analyzing revenue streams, optimizing profitability, and providing actionable insights to drive growth. Conduct market analysis and performance benchmarking to ensure Bupa CareConnect remains at the forefront of the industry.
3- Investment and Capital Strategy;
Evaluate and prioritize investment opportunities, ensuring optimal capital allocation to support our growth initiatives and long-term vision. Champion ROI-driven decision-making to maximize returns across projects and enhance shareholder value.
4- Collaborative Leadership and Reporting;
Partner with cross-functional teams—including Marketing, Operations, and Product Development—to align financial goals with strategic priorities. Deliver clear, compelling financial reports and presentations to the executive team, board members, and key stakeholders.
5- Performance Optimization and Risk Management;
Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure business success, providing recommendations and solutions to enhance operational efficiency. Proactively identify risks and implement effective mitigation strategies.

Skills



Proven expertise in strategic financial planning, commercial analysis, and investment management. Strong analytical mindset with advanced skills in financial modelling, budgeting, and forecasting. Exceptional communication and leadership skills to influence stakeholders at all levels. Industry Knowledge: Previous experience in healthcare or similar sectors is a plus, though not required. A genuine interest in healthcare transformation is essential. Minimum 10 years in finance, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role in commercial finance or strategy, ideally within a complex, fast-growing organization.

Education



Bachelor's degree in Finance or MBA, CFA, or similar advanced degree preferred
