Director of Security
About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Director of Security to oversee all aspects of safety and security at Four Seasons Resort and Residences. Reporting to the Director of Operations, you will lead the security team to ensure the safety of guests, employees, and property, while maintaining the highest standards of discretion and professionalism.
What You Will Do
Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive security and emergency response plans.
Lead and train the security team to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and local regulations.
Monitor security systems, including CCTV and access control, to maintain a secure environment.
Conduct risk assessments, safety audits, and incident investigations, implementing preventive measures as needed.
Act as the primary liaison with local law enforcement and emergency services.
Provide guidance during emergency situations, ensuring swift and effective responses.
Collaborate with all departments to maintain a secure and welcoming environment for guests and employees.
Stay informed of industry trends and advancements to enhance security measures.
What You Bring
A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior security role, preferably within luxury hospitality or a related industry.
In-depth knowledge of local security regulations and emergency protocols.
Proven leadership and team management skills.
Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities under pressure.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with guests, employees, and external stakeholders.
