Rewaa is seeking an experienced and dynamic Product Director to lead data-driven strategies and product innovation for our POS solutions concentrating on Inventory management, reports and Analytics. This individual will play a pivotal role in aligning product development with merchant needs, leveraging data to drive decisions, and ensuring the delivery of actionable insights through intuitive dashboards. The ideal candidate will possess a customer-first mindset, strong analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate across teams to shape the product vision and roadmap.
Responsibilities

Merchant-Centric Product Leadership: Lead the product strategy with a focus on understanding merchant needs, particularly around what data they require to optimise their business operations.

Data-Driven Decision Making: Define and drive data-focused discussions, ensuring that product decisions are guided by merchant feedback, usage analytics, and market trends.

Dashboard & Insights Development:Collaborate with data teams to design intuitive dashboards that provide merchants with real-time, actionable insights, helping them make informed business decisions.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:Work closely with engineering, data, and UX teams to ensure seamless integration of data insights into the product, while aligning with the overall business strategy.

Innovative Problem Solving:Demonstrate outside of the box thinking to address merchant pain points, creating unique solutions that distinguish the company from competitors in the POS space.

Stakeholder Alignment: Define and communicate the product vision and data strategy to internal stakeholders, ensuring all departments, from sales to support, are aligned on merchant needs and product capabilities.

Data Strategy & Analytics: Work closely with the data team to define the data collection strategy, ensuring key metrics are identified, tracked, and optimised to enhance merchant experiences and drive business outcomes.

Product Roadmap & Execution: Own the product roadmap, balancing short-term enhancements with long-term strategic initiatives, always keeping the merchant experience at the forefront.
Requirements
+ Proven experience in a product leadership role, ideally within the POS, payments, or retail technology sectors.
+ Strong understanding of data-driven decision making, with experience in defining metrics, KPIs, and dashboards for merchants or clients.
+ Proven ability to build strong collaborative working relationships with cross functional teams particularly with data teams, engineering, and UX designers to deliver merchant-centric products.
+ Experience in identifying and addressing merchant needs, turning data insights into actionable product improvements.
+ Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to align multiple departments behind a unified product vision.
+ Experience in presenting to senior business leaders.
+ Demonstrated ability to think creatively and propose innovative solutions that meet market demands.
Preferred Qualifications
+ Experience in building Dashboards and Reports.
+ Experience with tools such as Metabase, Tableau, Looker
+ 7+ yrs experience in working for a POS provider or a leading technology company.
+ Professional Scrum Master (PSM) is a plus
