Job Summary:


Siemens Saudi Arabia is looking for a seasoned Director of Operations to lead and manage a team of Project Managers focused on ELV systems includes Building Management Systems (BMS), Security Solutions and Fire safety solutions for both SI Building Projects and Service Contracts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operations management, with expertise in BMS, Security and Fire safety solutions. This role requires strategic oversight, leadership, and the ability to drive operational efficiency, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Leadership and Team Management:
    • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Project Managers overseeing SI Building Projects and Service Contracts for ELV systems
    • Develop and implement operational strategies to ensure efficient project delivery and service excellence.
    • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and collaboration within the team.
  • Project and Service Contract Management:
    • Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of SI Building projects and service contracts, ensuring they meet client requirements and quality standards.
    • Monitor project progress, manage risks, and resolve issues to keep projects on track.
    • Ensure adherence to project timelines, budgets, and scope, optimizing resource allocation and utilization.
  • Client Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and ensuring satisfaction with Siemens’ BMS, Fire safety and Security solutions.
    • Act as the main point of contact for key clients, addressing any concerns and providing updates on project and service contract status.
    • Identify opportunities for additional services and solutions to enhance client satisfaction and business growth.
  • Operational Excellence:
    • Develop and implement best practices and standard operating procedures for project and service delivery.
    • Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
    • Drive process improvements and operational efficiencies to enhance service delivery and reduce costs.
  • Financial Management:
    • Oversee budget planning, monitoring, and control for projects and service contracts, ensuring financial objectives are achieved.
    • Analyze financial reports and project data to identify trends, forecast outcomes, and make informed decisions.
    • Implement cost-control measures to maximize profitability and resource efficiency.
  • Quality Assurance and Compliance:
    • Ensure all projects and services adhere to Siemens’ quality standards and regulatory requirements.
    • Conduct regular reviews and inspections to maintain high standards of quality and compliance.
    • Implement corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives to address any deviations.
  • Strategic Planning and Business Development:
    • Contribute to the strategic direction of Siemens’ operations in Saudi Arabia, focusing on BMS, Security and Fire safety solutions.
    • Identify market trends, emerging technologies, and opportunities for growth in the SI Building and Security sectors.
    • Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement business development initiatives.
  • Reporting and Communication:
    • Prepare and present reports on project performance, financial status, and operational activities to senior management.
    • Maintain clear and effective communication with internal teams, stakeholders, and external partners.

Qualifications and Experience:


  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in operations management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within ELV Solution industry includes BMS, Fire safety and Security
  • Proven track record of managing large-scale SI Building projects and service contracts.
  • In-depth knowledge of SI Building management systems, Security solutions, Digital systems offering, Fire solution and relevant technologies.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
  • Financial acumen with experience in budget management and cost control.
  • Fluency in English; Arabic is an advantage.
