The Role


As a Digital Operations Executive, you will play a vital role in the planning, execution, and ongoing support of digital platforms that enhance our year-round event experiences. Working closely with marketing, operations, sales, customer insights, and sponsorship teams, you will help configure digital tools—such as mobile event apps and exhibitor directories—to deliver smooth, engaging user journeys for attendees and exhibitors alike.


In this role, you will support the setup, testing, and optimization of digital platforms for each event, ensuring they meet the needs of various stakeholders. You’ll manage timelines, coordinate with internal teams and external suppliers, and provide basic training and guidance to maximize platform usage. With your strong project coordination skills and keen eye for detail, you’ll ensure that every digital touchpoint contributes to a seamless and impactful event experience.


Key Responsibilities


  • Platform Setup & Coordination:
    • Assist with the end-to-end setup and configuration of digital event platforms, including mobile apps and exhibitor directories.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to gather platform requirements such as registration details, content integration, networking features, and sponsor fulfillment needs.
  • Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Serve as a point of contact for show teams, providing regular updates on project timelines, addressing concerns, and troubleshooting basic issues as they arise.
    • Work closely with marketing, sales, and sponsorship teams to ensure that platform capabilities align with their strategic goals.
  • Training & Support:
    • Support end-users and team members in understanding and navigating digital platforms.
    • Provide guidance on best practices, support onboarding sessions for exhibitors, and ensure they maximize their platform profiles and lead retrieval tools.
  • Quality Assurance & Compliance:
    • Assist in testing platform features and ensuring that data, content, and user journeys are properly set up and functioning optimally.
    • Help maintain compliance with internal Service Level Agreements and contribute to achieving key event metrics.
  • Performance Tracking & Reporting:
    • Contribute to post-event analysis and reporting by compiling basic performance metrics.
    • Support continuous improvement efforts by identifying areas of enhancement and providing feedback for future events

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, operations, IT, or a related field.


Experience


  • 3-5 years of experience as a Digital Operations Executive, preferably in Martech or a similar digital/IT-focused role.
  • Strong technical expertise across a range of Martech technologies, including but not limited to
    • Customer Relationship Management Systems (CRM)
    • Data Management Platforms or Customer Data Platforms
    • Analytics and Reporting: Google Analytics Power BI, etc
    • Event Management Systems (Swapcard, Visit, etc)
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM and integrations of it across platforms
  • Basic idea of web sites, CMS platforms and their integrations
  • Hands-on experience in supporting digital event platforms or web/mobile applications is highly desirable.
  • Basic project coordination skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Comfortable adapting to a fast-paced environment and adjusting to changing priorities.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, able to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with project management tools and experience with event tech platforms (e.g., Swapcard) is a plus.
  • Experience working in the events and/or media industry is a plus.
  • Experience in KSA is desired.
