Position: Digital Business Analyst

Role overview:


The Digital Mobility team is integrated in Land Mobility sector and one of the responsibilities is to own, develop and maintain a Digital Mobility Platform, implementing the world’s first integrated, automated, predictive mobility platform offering seamless experience across transport modes & NEOM regions.


To help us driving this exciting initiative we are expanding our team and looking for a Digital Business Analyst passionate about creating real value for customers. 


Reporting to the Technical Product Manager, you will bridge the gap between business and technology, defining product features that meet both business, users, and technical requirements.


To be successful in this role you will have to collaborate with several cross-functional teams ensuring high quality delivery. 


Requirements Summary:


Business Management  Support


  • Management, coordination & analysis to drive decision support capability in the existing business whilst preparing for the rapid expansion of services in line with growth projections
  • Conduct market research & benchmarking, identifying growth opportunities through industry analysis and evaluating market trends
  • Prepare and conduct presentations (internal and external)
  • Capturing, designing and administrating business processes
  • Preparation of business case memos and financial appraisal models in support of strategic digital projects

Stakeholder Management


  • Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate into detailed requirements
  • Gather & analyse requirements of another relevant stakeholders (UX, technical team, legal team etc)
  • Manage expectations and negotiate scope and timelines

Backlog Management


  • Detail functional and non-functional requirements
  • Manage and keep the backlog well-organized using management tools such JIRA
  • Ensure product documentation is updated
  • Assist on defining roadmap and prioritization based on business value, customer impact and technical feasibility

Product Delivery


  • Work closely with development and design teams to ensure product delivery
  • Ensure alignment of requirements between product, design and technical teams
  • Assist in vendor management for 3rd party integrations
  • Assist in release planning

Product Management


  • Advocate product vision and strategy across the team, stakeholders and vendors
  • Be the voice of the user ensuring customer-centric mindset 
  • Analyze product performance & suggest improvements

Knowledge, Skills and Experience


  • Experience in product delivery in IT or Digital ecosystems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and experience in managing relationships with different stakeholders
  • Solid business vision and understanding of market dynamics and customer needs 
  • Technical background having ability to understand and discuss technical concepts
  • Solid analytics and problem-solving skills
  • Detail-oriented and organization skills
  • Adaptability to adapt and learning continuously mindset
  • Good knowledge of agile and waterfall project management methodologies (incl. academic experience)
  • Proficiency with common technical documentation tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Notion etc.)

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (business, computer science, engineering, etc.).
  • Minimum 2-5 years experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Product Owner or Business Analyst
  • Fluency in English is required
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite of products (PowerPoint, Excel and Word)
  • Fluency in Arabic is a plus
  • Product Owner certification is a plus
