Eram Talent is seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our Client in Tabuk.DevOps Engineer to join our team, focusing on building and maintaining scalable, automated cloud-based data infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). In this role, you will oversee the seamless integration of data across multiple platforms such as Microsoft Fabric, Google BigQuery, and Tableau. The ideal candidate will work with cross-functional teams to ensure high availability, automation, performance, and security for our data operations while ensuring efficient real-time data visualization.
Key Responsibilities:
Cloud Infrastructure experience of 7 years: Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services such as Compute Engine, Google BigQuery, and Cloud Storage. Experience with other cloud platforms like AWS or Azure is a plus.
Automation & Scripting: Proficient in using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation for automating infrastructure deployment. Strong scripting skills using Python, Bash, or PowerShell for task automation.
CI/CD Pipeline Management: Expertise in setting up and managing Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or Azure DevOps. Ability to manage seamless, automated deployments with minimal downtime.
Containerization & Orchestration: Experience with container technologies such as Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes for managing scalable, distributed applications in cloud environments.
Monitoring & Logging: Proficiency with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or Cloud Monitoring to track system performance, set up alerts, and optimize resource utilization. Familiarity with centralized logging solutions like ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana).
Security Best Practices: Knowledge of implementing security controls in cloud environments, including firewalls, IAM policies, encryption, and compliance with industry standards such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, and GDPR.
Collaboration & Communication: Strong ability to collaborate with development, data, and operations teams to troubleshoot issues, optimize processes, and ensure efficient delivery of services. Excellent communication skills to effectively translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
