Job Description

Qiddiya Investment Company is seeking a visionary and dynamic Development Director - Public Realm to spearhead the planning, design, and implementation of vibrant public spaces within our transformative entertainment destination. This role is pivotal in creating an engaging atmosphere that fosters community interaction and enhances the overall visitor experience at Qiddiya.


As the Development Director for the Public Realm, you will be responsible for ensuring that our outdoor spaces reflect high-quality design, sustainability, and functionality, while encouraging creative use and accessibility for all guests and residents.


Responsibilities
  • Lead the strategic planning and development of public realm areas, including parks, plazas, and streetscapes, that align with Qiddiya’s vision and community values.
  • Coordinate with architects, urban designers, and landscape architects to create unique and interactive public spaces that enhance user experience.
  • Conduct community engagement initiatives to gather input on design concepts and ensure alignment with public needs and preferences.
  • Manage project budgets and timelines, ensuring the balanced allocation of resources for optimal outcomes.
  • Collaborate with construction teams to oversee the meticulous implementation of public realm projects from conception through completion.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental sustainability practices, safety regulations, and design standards in all public space initiatives.
  • Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and impact of public realm projects.
  • Maintain relationships with external stakeholders such as government entities, community organizations, and industry partners.
  • Stay informed on global trends in urban development and public space design to facilitate continuous improvement and innovation.
