We are looking for a talented and passionate Dessert Specialist with experience in preparing rolled ice cream, crepes, and a variety of other desserts. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in a dessert-focused environment and the ability to create high-quality, visually appealing, and delicious treats. This position requires creativity, attention to detail, and an understanding of food safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Ice Pan Rolled Ice Cream Preparation:
- Prepare rolled ice cream on a cold plate, ensuring consistent quality and presentation.
- Experiment with unique flavors, toppings, and combinations to create innovative desserts.
- Ensure the proper use and maintenance of ice pan equipment.
- Follow all procedures for ingredient preparation and rolling techniques.
Crepes and Other Desserts:
- Prepare and cook crepes to order, ensuring optimal texture and taste.
- Create a variety of other desserts such as waffles, bubble waffles, parfaits, milkshakes, and sundaes.
- Decorate and garnish desserts with an artistic touch to enhance customer experience.
Customer Service:
- Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Assist in customizing orders based on dietary preferences and restrictions.
- Ensure that all customer orders are prepared and served promptly and accurately.
Inventory and Stock Management:
- Assist in the inventory management of dessert ingredients, toppings, and supplies.
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the dessert station.
- Track stock levels and notify management when supplies need to be replenished.
Food Safety and Cleanliness:
- Adhere to all hygiene and food safety standards at all times.
- Clean work areas, utensils, and equipment regularly to ensure a safe and sanitary environment.
- Follow proper storage procedures to maintain the quality of ingredients.
Collaboration and Teamwork:
- Work closely with other team members to ensure smooth operation during peak hours.
- Assist in training new staff on dessert preparation techniques and customer service practices.
