Job Description



Direct the design process (including architecture, engineering, and interior design), for various asset types (i.e., residential, retail, offices, hospitality, commercial) in order to ensure their alignment with the project's vision, the desired design concept, design specifications along with the international and local standards, as well as to ensure they are prepared and submitted within given time frames and budget.

Strategic Leadership:
Develop and implement the overall design strategy in alignment with the company's vision and objectives.Lead the design team, providing creative direction and guidance to ensure cohesive and impactful design outcomes.Identify opportunities for innovation and improvement in design processes and methodologies.


Project Oversight:
Oversee the design process for all projects, from concept to completion, ensuring quality and consistency across all deliverables.Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate design with other project elements.Review and approve design concepts, plans, and specifications to ensure they meet the project's goals and the client's needs.


Team Management:
Lead, mentor, and develop the design team, fostering a collaborative and creative work environment.Manage team resources, assignments, and workflows to ensure efficient project delivery.Encourage professional growth and skill development within the design team.


Client and Stakeholder Engagement:
Act as the primary point of contact for all design-related matters with clients and stakeholders.Present design concepts and solutions to clients, ensuring their vision and requirements are met.Foster strong relationships with clients, ensuring satisfaction and long-term partnerships.


Quality Control:
Ensure that all design outputs meet the highest standards of quality, functionality, and aesthetic appeal.Conduct regular reviews and critiques of design work, providing constructive feedback to the team.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, standards, and technologies to ensure the company's design work remains competitive.


Budget and Resource Management:
Develop and manage design budgets, ensuring that projects are delivered within financial constraints.Optimise the use of design tools, software, and resources to enhance productivity and creativity.Identify and secure external resources, such as freelancers or consultants, when needed to support the design process.


Brand Development:
Ensure that all design work aligns with the company's brand identity and strengthens its market presence.Lead the development of new branding initiatives or the refresh of existing ones.Collaborate with marketing and business development teams to create compelling visual content and



Profile
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, Architecture, Fine Arts, or a related field.Extensive experience in a senior design role, with a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in multiple design disciplines.Proven track record of leading and delivering high-quality design projects on time and within budget.Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a creative team.Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts to diverse audiences.Proficiency in design software and tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD, SketchUp).Experience in managing client relationships and navigating complex design challenges.Strong understanding of current design trends, technologies, and best practices.
