DESIGN ARCHITECT

We are looking for a talented Design Architect with contractor experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong design background along with hands-on experience in construction, enabling effective collaboration with contractors and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop innovative architectural designs that meet client needs and project specifications.
• Collaborate with contractors and project managers to ensure designs are feasible and align with construction capabilities.
• Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and construction documents using CAD and BIM software.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to assess project progress and ensure compliance with design intent.
• Facilitate communication between design teams and contractors to address any design-related issues or changes.
• Review and analyze contractor proposals, providing recommendations based on design integrity and project objectives.
• Participate in client meetings to present designs and incorporate feedback into revisions.
• Stay informed about industry trends, materials, and building codes to enhance design quality and compliance.

Key Qualifications :

• Bachelors or master's degree in architecture.
• Proven experience as a Design Architect, preferably with a contractor background.
• Proficiency in architectural design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp).
• Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and building systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with sustainable design practices and certifications (LEED, etc.).
• Familiarity with local building codes and regulations.
• Knowledge of project management principles and practices
