Role overview
To function as the Logistics Coordinator at Calo, to oversee and facilitate the delivery operations of our company. You will be the one to coordinate personnel and processes to achieve the effective distribution of prepared meals.
The ideal candidate has great communication and negotiation skills. They are also well-versed in logistics management principles and practices. The goal is to ensure the smooth operations of a variety of channels aiming for maximum efficiency.
Main Responsibilities

Route daily deliveries using technology to ensure deliveries reach customers on-time and within the delivery window Ensure deliveries are picked up on time by having drivers arrive on time and in different time slots Create delivery zones and assign drivers with a continuous focus on expanding the delivery coverage within the region. Monitor and document the driver’s attitude with customers & implement code of conduct as needed Record daily work assignments and maintain daily attendance files for all drivers and helpers Maintain a zero error delivery accuracy with the delivery team Respond promptly to the CX team to ensure all customers’ requests are fulfilled Maintain driver attendance records, hygiene, and appearance as per HACCP standards Communicate directly with the Calo Dev. and Product team whenever bugs come up on the app Make hiring recommendations and provide ongoing training for drivers Work with Calo Finance team and within the monthly Driver Bonus code to reward high performing drivers Maintain the daily vehicle temperature log Conduct training for all new drivers on Calo SOPs, Driver app usage, and customer service
Ideal Candidate
Must have had a minimum of 2 years of previous proven experience and at least 1 year in Jizan city as a logistics coordinator or similar role Must have great record-keeping abilities and a customer-oriented approach Familiar with optimizing driver's routes using technology Must be a proficient communicator in English Must be proficient with Microsoft office tools Experience in customer service will be a plus Ability to work with little supervision and track multiple processes * Ability to communicate in multiple languages is a major plus
