Job Description Location: Riyadh · Implementing the Group privacy compliance strategy and best practice within the BAE Systems Saudi Arabia Business (“Business”), advising upon all requirements including day to day advice, subject access notifications, UK Information Commissioner notifications, providing training and increasing awareness and compliance at all levels of the Business · In conjunction with the Group Data Protection function, develop and support the Business sponsor/representatives network to ensure compliant processes and procedures are in place, embedded and maintained · Ensure implementation of Group/Business data protection and privacy policies and procedures within the Business · Regularly carry out impact assessments and audits for data protection and privacy compliance, identifying and allocation remedial actions among functional and (where appropriate) country management · Provide compliance management information and statistics to the Group Data Protection & DCRD Officer as required. · Knowledge of BAE Systems Saudi Arabia organizational structure and Operational Framework, particularly in relation to data protection and privacy · Ability to demonstrate a high level of commercial acumen · Project Management experience/track record of managing projects successfully, in particular implementation skills (taking an agreed concept and delivering a practical working solution) · Experience in a commercially-focused, international environment in a large commercial or government organisation · Knowledge of data protection/privacy legislation and relevant regulations and codes of practice · Operational experience of data protection/privacy audits, data protection/privacy impact assessements and remedial programmes · Proven ability to translate policies and procedures into practical application · Proven ability to manage successfully through change · Personal Attributes · Understands and can maintain independent judgement about data protection issues, concerns and dilemmas · Empathetic, with a proven ability to put people at ease · Ability to effectively share knowledge and collaborate
