Data Governance Developer

Master-Works, a global leader in technology consultancy, We are currently seeking a talented Data Governance Developer to join our team. This role will play a crucial part in implementing and maintaining data governance solutions, including AXON, EDC (Enterprise Data Catalog), and IDQ (Informatica Data Quality).

Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, and implement data governance solutions using AXON, EDC, and IDQ.
2. Customize and configure data governance tools to meet specific business requirements.
3. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data governance needs and objectives.
4. Develop data quality rules, workflows, and processes within IDQ.
5. Integrate data governance solutions with existing systems and applications.
6. Provide technical expertise and support for data governance initiatives.
7. Conduct training sessions and workshops for end-users on data governance tools and best practices.
8. Troubleshoot issues and perform debugging and optimization tasks as needed.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• Proven experience as a developer or engineer in the data governance space.
• Hands-on experience with data governance tools such as AXON, EDC, and IDQ.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell).
• Familiarity with data modeling concepts and metadata management.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in data management or related field (e.g., CDMP, DMDQ).
• Experience with other data governance platforms and technologies.
• Knowledge of data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and compliance requirements.
