Description
Design, build, and maintain scalable and efficient data pipelines to support the acquisition, storage, and processing of data from manufacturing systems, IoT sensors, and other sources.Integrate diverse datasets from multiple sources, including ERP systems, SCADA systems, laboratory data, and production equipment, into a unified data architecture.Develop Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) workflows to clean, transform, and prepare raw manufacturing data for analysis and reporting.Manage and optimize databases to ensure high performance, reliability, and scalability for handling large volumes of manufacturing data.Implement and monitor data validation and quality checks to ensure accuracy and consistency in manufacturing-related datasets.Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to prepare data for predictive modeling, machine learning, and process optimization projects.Develop solutions to handle streaming data from sensors and IoT devices, enabling real-time monitoring and decision-making.Ensure adherence to data privacy and security regulations, particularly in handling sensitive manufacturing data and intellectual property.Work closely with chemical engineers, process engineers, and IT teams to understand data requirements and deliver actionable insights.Monitor the performance of data systems and pipelines, troubleshoot issues, and perform regular maintenance to ensure uninterrupted data flow.Identify opportunities to leverage data engineering tools and techniques to improve manufacturing efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance product quality.Maintain comprehensive documentation of data pipelines, workflows, and processes to facilitate transparency and reproducibility.


Profile

A successful IT Digitization Specialist should have:
A degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.Proficiency in multiple front-end languages and libraries (HTML/ CSS, JavaScript, XML, jQuery)Proficiency in multiple back-end languages (Python, Java, or Scala for data manipulation and pipeline automation) and multiple frameworks e.g., .NET frameworkExperience with relational database management systems including querying, structuring, and maintenance in MS SQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.Experience in different web servers i.e., Apache and IIS.Extensive knowledge in mobile app development, starting from the code to publishing into the app store and Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions.Proficiency in Objective-C, Swift, and Cocoa Touch.Experience with Apple iOS frameworks such as Core Data, Core Animation, etc.Proficiency with Android Studio and Android SDK toolsKnowledge in UI/UX DesignProficiency in Data Warehousing Solutions: Experience with platforms like Redshift, BigQuery, or Snowflake.Experience with ETL Pipelines: Knowledge of designing, building, and maintaining ETL processes.Familiarity with Big Data Technologies: Experience with Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka for processing large data sets.Hands-on experience in Cloud Services with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud for data storage, processing, and pipeline deployment.Data Modeling and Database Design: Ability to design efficient and scalable data models.Data Quality and Testing: Experience with tools and methods for ensuring data integrity and accuracy.Version Control and Collaboration Tools: Familiarity with collaboration platforms.


Job Offer
An estimated salary range of SAR 36,000 to SAR 44,000.A
