Project Overview:

Bechtel has been involved over the last 80 years in some of the world’s busiest and most complex airport projects, including Greenfield and Brownfield developments. In the GCC, we have held significant roles on King Khalid, King Fahad, Dubai, Hamad, and Muscat international airports. As we consider the future of aviation globally and in the GCC, we are very enthusiastic about the future of aviation in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.


We are currently considering candidates with aviation, other transportation or complex public accessible building project experience to provide project management consultancy services (including technical, commercial and construction management) for a major infrastructure project in Riyadh should it be awarded to Bechtel. This posting serves as an expression of interest only.




Job Summary:

In this role, you will lead a document, records, and information management (DRIM) team to analyze, recommend, map, and implement work processes through to project completion. You will implement, support and troubleshoot the ECMS (Enterprise Content Management Systems). You will develop metrics, prepare progress reports, and assist with training, assessments, and improvements. Your leadership will guide the team to execute successful document and records management services.




Major Responsibilities:
  • Leads a large project document, records & information management (DRIM) team​
  • Works with Customer team, Project team, functional teams, contractors, suppliers and other stakeholders to ensure procedures and work processes are delivering the level of information required​
  • Leads training, implementation, assessments and improvements​
  • Prepares monthly progress reports for functional management​
  • Monitors work of support and/or professional personnel​
  • Establishes records formats as required by contract and storage requirements/methods​
  • Develops ongoing improvement of processes, where this is shown to be necessary, using Six Sigma methodologies


Education and Experience Requirements:
  • Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 10-13 years of relevant experience or 14-17 years of relevant work experience


Required Knowledge and Skills:
  • Experience of working closely with customer and contractor document control teams and collaborating systems and workflows for effective data management.
  • Experience working within and managing a multicultural and diverse team.
  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written) - English language skills essential.
  • Superior aptitude for automation and eager to learn.
  • Strong analytical skills to identify problems and work with customer and contactor teams to determine, develop and implement solutions.
  • Good interpersonal skills to provide daily user support, direction to document control team (spread across multiple contract packages) and communication with project leadership.
  • Ability to prioritize own work and that of direct reports as required and flexibility to multi-task in a fluid environment.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in challenging, dynamic work environment.
