Data AnalystJob Description2. JOB PURPOSETo assist in analyzing and interpret Local Content & Government Procurement data using data modelling and statistical techniques, ensure the quality and accuracy of the analysis, and present it in ways to support decision-making at LCGPA.3. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIESDESCRIPTIONLocal Content Data§ Support in monitoring overall Local Content KPI progress to identify underperforming Local Content sectors/ entities and suggest recommendations for improvement.§ Support in developing simulations on the applications of Local Content policies to provide the decision makers with and understanding of the implications of these policies.§ Support in implementing of data modeling tools and techniques for Local Content data to be stored to help in the visual representation of data.§ Support the Business Development team in developing detailed business cases through providing them with the needed analysis and follow up with required support analyses to ensure the accurate and timely development of business cases.§ Support in reviewing the availability of data needed to calculate and recommend minimum Local Content threshold and Local Content Baseline score in different sectors in alignment with Local Content sectors heads.§ Support in arranging data needed to conduct ongoing analysis of local content data and identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets to identify local content development opportunitiesData Analytics Reporting· Support in preparing ad-hoc and Local Content analysis and reports to LCGPA leadership to support the preparation of business cases for each sector.§ Support in developing advanced dashboards with data visualizations of data points to show relevant and important local content insights.§ Support in conducting analysis of demand-supply data to identify Local Content opportunities, in collaboration with Business Development team, to ensure the continuous monitoring of Local Content opportunities.Policies, Systems, Processes, Procedures, Standards and Reports§ Follow all relevant functional policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions to ensure that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.§ Assist in the preparation of timely and accurate reports and functional deliverables to meet the functional requirements in order to achieve the desired efficiency and performance excellence.Related Tasks§ Perform any other related tasks and duties as directed.Technical CompetenciesTECHNICAL COMPETENCIES§ Relations Management - Basic§ Business and Report Writing - Basic§ Language Proficiency - Basic§ IT skills - Basic§ Research Management - Basic§ Market intelligence - Basic§ Data analysis - Basic§ Define and evaluate hypotheses - Basic§ Business analysis - BasicEducationComputer Science, Information Systems or related majorsJob Location Saudi Arabia Job Role Other Years of Experience Min: 0 Max: 1
