Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques, and provide ongoing reports.
Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics, and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality.
Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems.
Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
Filter and “clean” data by reviewing computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems.
Work with management to prioritize business and information needs.
Locate and define new process improvement opportunities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for leveraging company data to drive business solutions.
Develop custom data models and algorithms to apply to data sets.
Use predictive modeling to increase and optimize customer experiences, revenue generation, ad targeting, and other business outcomes.
Develop A/B testing framework and test model quality.
Assess the effectiveness and accuracy of new data sources and data gathering techniques.
Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to track and measure the performance of data-driven initiatives.
Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources to build and maintain accessible data pipelines.
Create and present data-driven insights to support decision-making at various organizational levels.
Stay current with industry trends, techniques, and best practices and share knowledge across the organization.
Essential Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in the required specialty from an accredited university.
7+ years of experience as a Data Analyst in a relevant field.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficient in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools.
Experience working with SQL databases and programming languages such as Python or R is preferred.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
