As a Cybersecurity Engineer, you will play a critical role in protecting our systems and data against evolving cyber threats while ensuring compliance with security standards and best practices.
Key Accountabilities- Design, implement, and maintain robust cybersecurity solutions.
- Conduct risk assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration testing.
- Monitor network traffic and systems for security breaches and anomalies.
- Investigate security incidents and provide timely resolutions.
- Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and standards.
- Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity trends, tools, and technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure system architecture.
- Provide training and guidance to employees on cybersecurity awareness.
Knowledge, Skills, and ExperienceWe are Looking for:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Cybersecurity Engineer or similar role.
- Proficiency in security tools like firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, and antivirus software.
- Strong understanding of encryption methods, authentication protocols, and VPNs.
- Familiarity with security frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001) and compliance standards.
- Experience in incident response and threat analysis.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ are preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
