Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and maintain enterprise-wide network security architecture including firewalls, VPNs, routers, and switches
Lead deployment and management of network security solutions including IDS/IPS, NGFW, NAC, and network segmentation
Architect and implement zero-trust network architecture across global infrastructure
Monitor and optimize network security performance, ensuring high availability of security infrastructure
Conduct network security assessments, vulnerability scanning, and penetration testing
Design and implement secure network segmentation strategies including microsegmentation
Manage and optimize enterprise SIEM deployment for network security monitoring
Lead incident response for network-related security events and conduct network forensics
Develop and maintain network security policies, standards, and procedures
Implement and maintain secure SD-WAN and SASE solutions across the enterprise
Configure and maintain network access control (NAC) systems and 802.1x authentication
Oversee security of cloud network infrastructure and hybrid connectivity
Lead network DDoS protection strategy and implementation
Manage BGP routing security and implement RPKI
Evaluate and implement network security tools and technologies
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Network Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
8+ years of experience in network security engineering
Expert knowledge of TCP/IP, routing protocols, and network security architecture
Advanced expertise with enterprise firewalls (Palo Alto, Cisco, Fortinet)
Professional certifications required: CISSP, CCNP Security, PCNSE, or equivalent
Strong experience with network security monitoring tools and packet analysis
Expert-level knowledge of VPN technologies (IPSec, SSL VPN, DMVPN)
Advanced understanding of network protocols and security standards
Deep expertise in network access control and 802.1x implementations
Strong background in secure network design and architecture
Experience with software-defined networking and network automation
Advanced knowledge of network encryption and PKI infrastructure
Expertise in secure remote access solutions and zero-trust network access
Strong incident response and network forensics capabilities
Experience securing large-scale enterprise networks (10,000+ nodes)
